Rodina Eliasnik, M.S. CCC-SLP

Founder/CEO Touched By An Angel, Inc.

     Rodina Eliasnik is the CEO and a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Touched By an Angel, Inc., where she combines her extensive experience in speech therapy with a passion for community service. Born in Tehran, Iran, Rodina is a Taurus with a birthday on May 8th. She earned her degree from California State University Northridge and has over 13 years of experience in the field. Rodina is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for families, building a strong community, and integrating holistic healing practices like reiki and sound healing into her work. She finds fulfillment in giving back to the community, whether through free Lyft rides, providing meals for people in need, or organizing events that bring families together. Outside of her professional life, Rodina enjoys attending concerts, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is fluent in Farsi, English, and conversational Spanish.

Beverly Isabel Ramirez, M.A. CCC-SLP

Beverly Isabel Ramirez was born in Montebello at Beverly Hospital, which is how she got her name. She is a proud Taurus, celebrating her birthday on May 5—Cinco de Mayo! She earned her Associate’s degree from East Los Angeles College and completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at California State University, Los Angeles. She has been working in the field as a clinician for almost 6 years. She enjoys working at Touched By An Angel, Inc. because the organization allows her to be directly involved with the communities that need speech therapy services most. As a nonprofit, Touched By An Angel, Inc. provides free Lyft rides for families, raises funds and items for people in need, and hosts family-friendly events. Beverly values being able to serve families in her own neighborhood and helping children get a successful start in life. Outside of work, Beverly enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, daughter, and her sister and brother-in-law. She loves playing video games like Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Fallout, and Skyrim. She also enjoys reading novels, especially fantasy and dystopian genres.

     Celeste Torres was born in Indiana and is a proud Virgo, celebrating her birthday on September 7. She earned her degree from California State University, Los Angeles and has been working in the field for 6 months. She enjoys working at Touched By An Angel, Inc. because the organization gives back to the community in meaningful ways, such as providing free Lyft rides for families, raising funds for those in need, offering free food to people on Skid Row, and hosting events for families. Outside of work, Celeste enjoys playing video games, learning to play instruments like guitar, ukulele, and piano, and exploring new restaurants to try different foods.

Nicolette (Nicky) Elia, SLPA

Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Nicolette (Nicky) Elia was born and raised in Alhambra and is a proud Scorpio (birthday: November 18). She graduated from Pasadena City College in 2019 with A.A. degrees in Social and Behavioral Science and Natural Science, and later earned her B.A. in Communication Disorders from California State University, Los Angeles in 2022. Nicky is excited to begin her journey in the field of Speech & Language Pathology this year.

Her favorite part of working at Touched By An Angel, Inc. is being able to support families in need, especially through community events like food drives during the holidays. Outside of work, Nicky enjoys playing video games, cuddling with her guinea pig Bubz, and expressing her creativity through painting and drawing.

Nirel Hernandez, SLPA
Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Nirel Hernandez was born and raised in Los Angeles and is a proud Virgo, celebrating her birthday on August 25. She earned her degree from California State University, Fullerton and recently began her journey as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in 2024.

She enjoys working at Touched By An Angel, Inc. because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The supportive and energetic team creates a space where there’s never a dull moment. Nirel finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of such an engaged organization that supports children and their families—especially when she sees smiles on their faces. Touched By An Angel, Inc. gives back in meaningful ways by offering free Lyft rides for families and hosting free family events. Outside of work, Nirel enjoys spending time in nature—whether it’s at parks, on hikes, or at the beach. She’s an animal lover with a home full of dogs, cats, and reptiles. She also loves trying new foods with friends and family.

Soo (Sue) Jeong, MSOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Languages: English and Korean

     Soo (Sue) Jeong is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) at Touched By an Angel, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families in need. Born in Seoul, Korea, Sue is an Aries with a passion for helping others. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from NYU and has been practicing as an OT for less than a year, building on her experience as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) for three years. Sue loves the diverse, fun clientele she works with at Touched By an Angel, where she enjoys participating in free events for families, providing food for those in need, and offering Lyft rides for families. Outside of work, Sue enjoys hiking, reading mystery/thriller fiction, and exploring her love of coffee as a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur.

Annabelle Fu, MA, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Annabelle Fu is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) at Touched By an Angel, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving families in need. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Annabelle is an Aries, celebrating her birthday on April 20th. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from New York University and has over 30 years of experience in the field.

Annabelle enjoys the flexibility of her work at Touched By an Angel, where she has the opportunity to provide in-home visits for children, helping them thrive in their familiar, comfortable environments. She values the organization’s mission of supporting families through free Lyft rides, food distribution for those in need, and organizing free events for families. The ability to meet the unique needs of families and children with a flexible schedule is one of the aspects she enjoys most about her work.

Outside of work, Annabelle is passionate about gardening, building Lego creations, and photography—especially when it involves traveling.
