Rodina Eliasnik is the CEO and a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Touched By an Angel, Inc., where she combines her extensive experience in speech therapy with a passion for community service. Born in Tehran, Iran, Rodina is a Taurus with a birthday on May 8th. She earned her degree from California State University Northridge and has experience in the field since 2014. Rodina is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for families, building a strong community, and integrating holistic healing practices like reiki and sound healing into her work. She finds fulfillment in giving back to the community, whether through free Lyft rides, providing meals for people in need, or organizing events that bring families together. Outside of her professional life, Rodina enjoys attending concerts, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is fluent in Farsi, English, and conversational Spanish.

Brooke Calderon was born in Los Angeles and is a proud Cancer, celebrating her birthday on June 25. She earned her degree from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and has been working in the field since 2021. Brooke enjoys working at Touched By An Angel, Inc. because she feels genuinely aligned with the organization’s mission and values. Although her role is primarily administrative, she finds it rewarding to know that the work she does behind the scenes helps support the clinic, its therapists, and ultimately the individuals and families we serve. She values being part of a team whose mission reflects her own and appreciates being able to contribute to an organization that gives back to the community through free Lyft rides for families, outreach efforts, support for individuals in need, and free family events.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors, taking road trips and traveling to explore new places, and participating in community outreach. She enjoys staying connected to her community and finding meaningful ways to support and give back to others.
Mika

Mika was born in Manila and is a proud Cancer, celebrating her birthday on July 10. She earned her degree from DLSMHSI and has been working in the field for 2 years. Mika enjoys working at Touched By An Angel, Inc. because she finds it incredibly rewarding to know that her work contributes to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families the organization serves. Although her role focuses primarily on administrative and operational support, Mika is grateful for the opportunity to advocate for the needs of families and help ensure they receive the care, support, and compassion they deserve. She especially values being part of a team whose work is driven by a genuine mission to serve others and give back to the community.
Outside of work, Mika enjoys watching films, getting lost in a good book, and exploring her creative side through painting and junk journaling. She loves the opportunity to slow down and turn everyday moments into something creative and meaningful. Whether she’s discovering a new movie, diving into a great book, or creating something by hand, Mika enjoys finding little ways to relax, recharge, and express herself.
Beverly Isabel Ramirez, M.A. CCC-SLP

Beverly Isabel Ramirez was born in Montebello at Beverly Hospital, which is how she got her name. She is a proud Taurus, celebrating her birthday on May 5, Cinco de Mayo! She earned her Associate’s degree from East Los Angeles College and completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at California State University, Los Angeles. She has been working in the field as a clinician since 2019. She enjoys working at Touched By An Angel, Inc. because the organization allows her to be directly involved with the communities that need speech therapy services most. As a nonprofit, Touched By An Angel, Inc. provides free Lyft rides for families, raises funds and items for people in need, and hosts family-friendly events. Beverly values being able to serve families in her own neighborhood and helping children get a successful start in life. Outside of work, Beverly enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, daughter, and her sister and brother-in-law. She loves playing video games like Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Fallout, and Skyrim. She also enjoys reading novels, especially fantasy and dystopian genres.
Chyna Peeler, SLPA

Chyna Peeler was born and raised in Los Angeles and is a proud Sagittarius, celebrating her birthday on December 17. She earned her degree from California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA) and is excited to begin her career in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. Chyna has been working in the field for less than a year and enjoys being part of Touched By An Angel, Inc. because she values knowing that her work is directly connected to helping individuals, families, and the community. She appreciates being part of an organization that is dedicated to making a positive difference and providing meaningful support to those who need it most.
Outside of work, Chyna enjoys expressing her creativity through crafts, getting lost in a good book, and practicing yoga. She loves having creative outlets that allow her to relax, recharge, and explore new ideas. Whether she’s working on a craft project, reading a new book, or finding her balance through yoga, Chyna enjoys making time for the things that bring her joy and help her stay inspired.
Liz de Dios

Liz de Dios is a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Speech Department at Touched By an Angel, Inc., where she is passionate about helping individuals reach their communication goals while serving a mission-driven community. Born and raised in beautiful Los Angeles, Liz is a Leo with an August 13 birthday. She earned her degree from San Francisco State University and has over 8 years of experience in the field. Liz is inspired to work in a space whose intention is rooted in the belief, "May it be for the benefit of all." She values being part of a team where every colleague genuinely has the best intentions for the well-being of every family who walks through the door, a rare workplace culture that she is grateful to be a part of. She especially appreciates Touched By an Angel, Inc.'s commitment to giving back through initiatives such as providing free Lyft rides for families, raising funds and essential items for those in need, serving meals to individuals on Skid Row, stocking community refrigerators during Thanksgiving, and hosting free family events throughout the year.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys prioritizing her physical and mental well-being through dynamic workouts at the gym, outdoor activities, and yoga. She also values taking time for silent retreats, traveling, spending time with loved ones, connecting with nature, and dancing in community. When she's not exploring new adventures, she loves discovering hidden gems among local small businesses, including coffee shops, restaurants, and thrift stores. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and, most of the time, Spanglish.
Annabelle Fu, MA, OTR/L

Annabelle Fu is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) at Touched By an Angel, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving families in need. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Annabelle is an Aries, celebrating her birthday on April 20th. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from New York University and has over 30 years of experience in the field.
Annabelle enjoys the flexibility of her work at Touched By an Angel, where she has the opportunity to provide in-home visits for children, helping them thrive in their familiar, comfortable environments. She values the organization’s mission of supporting families through free Lyft rides, food distribution for those in need, and organizing free events for families. The ability to meet the unique needs of families and children with a flexible schedule is one of the aspects she enjoys most about her work.
Outside of work, Annabelle is passionate about gardening, building Lego creations, and photography, especially when it involves traveling.
